Participating in an exchange program

UTBM trains engineers who are quickly ready for the workforce and particularly adaptable to technological advancements and societal changes. Its programs are grounded in research and commercialization.

Exchange Semesters

Want to explore France and experience UTBM? Come study abroad at our university!

  • 1 or 2 semesters of study
  • 5 engineering specializations: computer science, energy and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering and ergonomics, industrial engineering
  • Fall Semester (3rd week of August – 3rd week of January) / Spring Semester (2nd week of February – end of June)

4. My university nominates me to the UTBM:

  • Fall semester: mid-May
  • Spring semester: mid-November

5. I submit my application to UTBM

  • Fall semester: late May
  • Spring semester: late November

6. I've been accepted! UTBM is guiding me every step of the way until I arrive

dual degree

Set yourself apart by earning a dual degree in engineering, combining the UTBM specialization with your original degree program.

Coming to UTBM as an exchange student means:
