Our Erasmus+ Projects

UTBM trains engineers who are quickly ready for the workforce and particularly adaptable to technological advancements and societal changes. Its programs are grounded in research and commercialization.

Overview

The Erasmus+ program is the European program for education, training, youth, and sports. Erasmus+ 2021–2027 focuses on four main priorities*:

  • Support the ecological transition;
  • Navigating the digital transition;
  • Promote social inclusion and diversity;
  • To promote greater participation in democratic life, shared values, and civic engagement.

UTBM is involved in two key actions under the Erasmus+ program:

  • Key Action 131 – “Higher Education Mobility Supported by Domestic Policy Funds” for intra-European mobility;
  • Key Action 171 – “Mobility of students and higher education staff supported by foreign policy funds” for mobility outside Europe.

UTBM is proud to announce the launch of a new AC171 program in collaboration with seven of our African partners:

Preparing for Your Mobility Experience

Student

  • Eligibility: Be enrolled at UTBM or at one of the project’s partner institutions in one of the relevant degree programs and academic levels.
  • Selection criteria: academic record, motivation, study abroad plan, language proficiency.
  • Application materials: resume and cover letter, academic transcript, application form, language proficiency certificate (if applicable).
  • Procedure: Applicants are preselected by their home university. The host university selects the recipients based on the list provided.

Staff

  • Eligibility: Must be employed by UTBM or one of the project’s partner institutions.
  • Selection criteria: alignment of the mobility project with the objectives of the cooperation program and the needs of the partner institutions.
  • Application materials: Resume in Europass format [link] and cover letter.
  • Procedure: Applicants are preselected by their home university. The host university selects the recipients based on the list provided.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Contribution toward living expenses

  • Incoming student mobility: 850 € / month
  • Outbound student mobility: 700 € / month
  • Inbound employee mobility: 160 € per day
  • Outbound staff mobility: 180 € per day

Travel expenses: 275 €

Average cost of eco-friendly transportation: 45 €

Togo – Angola – Cameroon

Contribution toward living expenses

  • Incoming student mobility: 900 € / month
  • Outbound student mobility: 700 € / month
  • Employee Travel: 190 € per day

Travel expenses: €1,188
