Practical Information

Medical appointments are by appointment only and are scheduled by the medical department or upon request.
Students are seen by a general practitioner, and staff members are seen by an occupational physician.

Students

A social worker will be available to assist you at the CROUS office in Belfort on Rue Ernest Duvillard. You can make an appointment with the UTBM nurse.

MGEN offers a supportive space for National Education staff experiencing personal or professional difficulties.
A clinical psychologist is available to assist you (support groups, individual counseling).

Specific Financial Aid from the CROUS for 2020

To provide the best possible support to students facing financial hardship in their daily lives, the CROUS has established specific emergency financial aid programs available based on your financial eligibility and personal circumstances. Visit etudiant.gouv.fr to find CROUs emergency financial aid. To help you save money, find out how to lower your household costs—for example, by switching energy providers to find the cheapest one in your area.
 

For any questions or information regarding health, travel abroad (vaccinations, first-aid kit), or prevention (HIV, STIs, pregnancy, smoking, alcohol, diet, etc.), please contact the medical office or one of the free services listed below.

At UTBM

UTBM students, medical and psychological support is available to you!

The facility’s medical department has adapted its operations and is available to assist you by offering remote medical consultations, support, and psychological counseling: service.medical@utbm.fr

Psychological counseling sessions are also offered every Wednesday afternoon on the Sevenans campus.
These sessions are conducted in person by a psychologist.

The CROUS of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté offers free psychological counseling sessions that are available to all students.

A psychologist is available to meet with you free of charge via video consultation, offering a caring and nonjudgmental ear, support, and answers—all in complete confidence.

Youth Health Line

If you are experiencing significant financial difficulties, you can apply for emergency financial assistance

  • This assistance is granted on a case-by-case basis and upon submission of documentation verifying your circumstances.
  • There is only one place to apply for this assistance: aide.etudiants@utbm.fr

Food aid

  • Since January 25, all students—whether they receive financial aid or not, and whether they are domestic or international—can enjoy a meal for €1 at CROUS restaurants and cafeterias.

    Due to the curfew, each student may purchase two meals directly—one for lunch and one for dinner—at a price of €1 per meal. These meals are available for takeout only, in accordance with health guidelines.

Student Solidarity Spaces

The “solidarity food basket” program is available to students in Belfort and Montbéliard who are facing financial hardship.
If you are in need, you can apply for a food basket online.

Orders must be placed by Friday at noon for delivery the followingTuesday:
  • Sevenans, between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the grocery store
  • Belfort, between 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the reception desk
  • Montbéliard, 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the reception desk
