It was a few weeks ago in Quebec that they made the UTBM shine. The powerhouse team (a.k.a. Victor Kretz, Léon Morales, Alban Morin and Mattéo Pourcine, computer science students currently pursuing a dual degree at theUniversity of Quebec at Chicoutimi took second place in the technology hackathon organized by CONFORMiT, in collaboration with UQAC and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

24 hours to tackle an artificial intelligence programming challenge.

The challenge: to develop a chatbot-assisted big data analytics application.
Result: second place and a $1,000 prize to be shared.
