But what exactly is the FF1J?
The FF1J is, above all, a festival that brings together students from all academic backgrounds—whether French or French-speaking—to take on a team challenge: to produce a short film in 50 hours based on a theme drawn at random during the opening ceremony. At the end of this period, the short films will be screened for a jury and an audience during the closing ceremony.
When is the FF1J held?
This year, for its 20th edition, the FF1J will take place from May 29 to June 1, 2025.

How can I attend?
By participating in the various activities taking place during the festival or by attending the closing ceremony on May 31, 2025, you’ll have the chance to see the short films created by the teams.
