UTBM is proud to announce that Professor Fei Gao has been appointed editor-in-chief of the international journal *IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification* (TTE), effective April 1, 2026.
Published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), this journal is an international authority in the field of transportation electrification, covering a wide range of scientific and technological topics such as electric propulsion systems, power converters, onboard power systems, energy storage, and new architectures for sustainable mobility.
Ranked Q1 in its subject areas, the journal has an impact factor of 8.3, attesting to its scientific influence and global visibility.
Within the IEEE, which publishes approximately 150 international scientific journals, the position of Editor-in-Chief is a highly selective and strategic role, entrusted to a small number of researchers who are well-established in their fields.
This appointment recognizes the scientific excellence and international influence of Fei Gao’s work in the field of transportation electrification.
