Producers, engineers: They make UTBM shine!
Do you know what Alfred Hitchcock and our students Timothée Clerc and Antoine Peyron have in common? They screened their film on stage at the legendary Le Grand Rex movie theater. Here’s the story…
Antoine and Timothée, who are studying mechanical engineering and ergonomics, are also passionate about video and well known within the communications team, particularly for producing—among other things—the latest (and magnificent) videos of the prototypes from the ESPERA Sbarro UTBM – Montbéliard School. We are also proud to announce that they have just won the gold prize in the “Je Filme ma Formation” competition! Their short film was recognized among 1,200 submitted entries and 600 selected for the competition.
The jury praised “the professionalism of the production” and “the valuable insight” this film provides into the diversity, richness, and quality of the engineering programs at UTBM.
In front of an enthusiastic audience of 2,600 people, Juliette Massot-Bigeard, Employer Branding Project Manager at ALTEN and chair of the jury for the “Engineering Programs” category, presented them with this prestigious award.

A nod, by the way, to the long line of film and video production enthusiasts who have passed through UTBM… some of whom are currently hard at work on the upcoming 20th edition of the One-Day Film Festival, organized by the UTBM Student Association.
