For several years now, the “Coexister” association (Nancy) has developed an interesting approach to encouraging young people to get involved in issues of secularism, based on respect for both those who hold religious beliefs and those who do not.

The goal is to implement joint initiatives, while respecting everyone’s beliefs, without treating religion as a “problem” but rather as a resource. This approach provides examples of “living together” at the heart of popular education.

The conference on March 30 will provide an opportunity to learn about these initiatives and the reasoning behind them, and to discuss their relevance with the audience.
