Following the UTBM’s signing of the Grenoble Agreement in January 2023 and in accordance with its commitments—such as reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 and providing training to all members of its community by 2025— the UTBM is organizing several notable initiatives this academic year as part of the ecological transition toward sustainable development: an XXL climate mural, designed to raise awareness among 400 students and staff members.
It’s a card game! The 42 cards in the deck are based on scientific data from the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). Players work in teams, and the goal is to put the cards in the correct order to better understand the causes and consequences of climate change and how the climate system works.
