During the week of December 16, we had the privilege of hosting two of our close African partners.   

[ANGOLA] Agostinho-Neto University has a long-standing collaboration with UTBM on research projects and the development of master’s programs in engineering. Student and staff exchanges facilitated by the new Erasmus AC171 (KA171) mobility program will further strengthen this partnership. Mr. Jone Heitor DA PAIXAO SEBASTIAO, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, spent a week at our institution. This provided an opportunity to meet with Mr. Samuel GOMES, who oversees the collaboration with UAN; Mr. Franck GECHTER, Director of International Relations; and Ms. Heather COOPER, Africa Project Manager.   

[TOGO] The IMPACT program forges a link between French universities and the École Polytechnique at the University of Lomé. Through teaching, the exchange of best practices, student mobility, and joint thesis supervision, this program enriches research and education. Mr. Kossi ATCHONOUGLO, IMPACT project manager for the University of Lomé (UL) and a regular visitor to UTBM, visited us on December 16 to plan the next steps for the program with our academic and international relations teams. It was also an opportunity to discuss future collaborations.
