UTBM, Trinaps, and Time Prod are pooling their expertise for a local community project
That was the challenge taken on by the four Belfort-based founders of Immersive Eurocks For All.
A techno adventure brought to you by Trinaps and Time Prod, long-time Belfort-based sponsors of the Eurockéennes who are known for thinking outside the box in their respective fields: telecommunications and video.
Drawing on the creativity of the UTBM Innovation CRUNCH Lab and the Eurockéennes team, they are developing an original digital project for the festival’s 30th edition.
From a technical standpoint, immersive virtual reality headsets are used to stream a concert filmed in 360°. Viewers find themselves virtually on stage and enjoy a unique perspective.
These spectators become festivalgoers for the duration of a concert, despite their disabilities. And the Bretegnier Center for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Héricourt, run by the Arc-En-Ciel Foundation, wanted to offer this experience to its patients. The goal is simple: to let those who have faced life’s hardships enjoy the Eurocks once again and give them the best seats—right on stage with Pihpoh.
The Delfingen Foundation’s mission is to help individuals achieve greater independence through access to health care, education, decent housing, and disability services. It is within the context of this last pillar—disability—that the Foundation’s involvement in the project took on its full meaning, and it did not hesitate to provide financial support to ensure the success of this ambitious project.
