With nearly 9,000 students and more than 1,300 doctoral students, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P – Mohammed VI Polytechnic University) aims, in particular, to contribute to the development of the African continent and to the training of its future talent. Founded in 2013, the university pursues a policy of cooperation and academic and economic partnerships, as exemplified by its satellite campuses, which have opened in recent months in France, Canada, and the United States.
UTBM welcomes the visit of Professor Ismael SAADOUNE, a faculty member and researcher at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), as part of an exploratory visit aimed at developing a future scientific and academic partnership between our two institutions. The discussions helped identify new opportunities for collaboration on strategic topics shared by both universities, particularly in the field of energy.
During his visit, Professor SAADOUNE was welcomed by:
– Dr. Issam SALHI, instructor in the Energy and Electrical Engineering program
– Prof. Franck GECHTER, Director of International Relations and Internationalization
– Natallia BOLLE, Coordinator of International Partnership Agreements and Staff Mobility at UTBM
He also met with the professors Fei GAO, Nicolas GAUD and Abdellatif MIRAOUI, and met with the technical team from the Energy and Electrical Engineering program and the hydrogen platform.
This visit marks an important milestone in strengthening UTBM’s international collaborations and reaffirms our institutions’ shared commitment to working together to advance scientific innovation and the energy transition.
