UTBM is participating in the “Relocation Accelerator,” a national initiative designed to support companies in their efforts to relocate their industrial operations.

Rebuilding a supply chain in 10 steps to manufacture innovative and environmentally friendly products: this is the goal of the project led by the Ministry of the Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, with the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) serving as the lead organization.

A team of faculty researchers from UTBM, led by Christian Camelin, Director of the Industry 4.0 Cluster, will share their expertise with selected companies as part of an inaugural event to be held at the Belfort Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday, December 7, and Friday, December 8: “24 Hours to Relocate.”

An industrial hackathon aimed at fostering a structured approach to move from the idea of a product or process to be manufactured or implemented in France to the definition of a sustainable economic and technological model.

Also of note is a conference open to the public at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7: “Toward an Industrial France,” featuring Arnaud PICHARD, former vice president of Schneider Electric and founder of RIF (Retour de l’Industrie en France), and Olivier Lluansi, former advisor to the Ministry of Industry and founder of the “Territoires d’industrie” initiative.
