This anthology explores how the arts—such as visual arts, music, dance, creative writing, and design—incorporate the body and the senses into the creative process, as well as into the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. 

Although recent research has highlighted the importance of the body in learning, it is clear that its role remains underutilized, particularly in the arts. 

Thus, this book offers a multifaceted approach, drawing primarily on theoretical perspectives from research-based creation, subject-specific pedagogy, the arts, psychology, and educational sciences, in order to foster reflection on the fundamental role of the body in education for artistic creation.
